I had a bottle of shampoo deploy its contents all over the inside of a bag containing my shoes and running gear several months ago. Until last night, the only side effect was soft, manageable laces. I know I have gone running in the rain several times since then, but for some reason, something new happened this time.
I was just over half way through the run when I looked down. I had run through a bunch of puddles, and it had been raining the whole time, so my feet were soaked. But what I saw when I looked down caught me off guard. The front half of my shoe was covered in white fluffy suds. That had to have looked strange to the cars passing by. Here’s what was left when I got home.
4 miles, rain, 61 degrees
That’s funnier than hell. You may have stumbled into a new treatment for toenail fungus and athlete’s foot.
